If you are struggling with depression, suicidal intentions, anxiety, paranoia, mood swings or destructive anger, or addiction, you may need additional support and treatment to help you through this difficult time. Our Outpatient Adult Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Treatment program has a team of experts including licensed masters-level counselors/social workers, Substance Abuse Counselors, Clinical AODA Counselors, Medical Director, and Clinical Supervisor that will work with you to develop your own, personalized care plan in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Our dedicated team of professionals will work with you to understand and to cope with the source(s) of distress and guide you through the process to help you achieve your own highest level of mental, physical, social and spiritual well-being. AMRI Counseling Services Mental Health Day Treatment Program is designed to treat patients experiencing a wide range of psychiatric symptoms, behavioral difficulties and diagnosis including:
* Depression * Grief * Conduct Disorders * Self-Harming Behaviors
* Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder * Anxiety * Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Program Goals:
Provide symptom relief Eliminate suicidal/homicidal thoughts
Increase impulse control Develop a healthy daily routine
Increase ability to perform healthy daily living activities
Program Services:
Individual and group treatment approach
Activity therapy
Patient and family education
Patient-specific consulting
Comprehensive discharge planning
Daily Program Activities:
* Education in medication, nutrition and coping mechanisms * Community living * Goal setting * Relaxation techniques
* Occupational and recreational activities
Adult Chemical Dependency Treatment
For adults seeking a transition from an inpatient detox program
or as a direct referral based on initial assessment, AMRI Counseling Services, LLC
offers an outpatient program. Using an abstinence based program that uses a
combination of a 12-step program and cognitive behavioral approaches, our
compassionate staff will work with you to help you achieve and maintain
sobriety. The outpatient program provides treatment and counseling for
alcohol, stimulants, opiates, prescription drugs, illicit drugs or methadone to
those 18 years and older.
Program Goals:
Patient will verbalize commitment to abstinence
Comprehensive assessment Program Services:
Individualized treatment plan Group and family treatment
Introduce patients and families to alternative recovery lifestyle Patient and family education
Develop relapse prevention plan Medication intervention
Develop coping and sobriety skills Introduction in to cognitive behavioral interventions
Develop positive leisure skills 12-step orientation and introductory sponsorship
Relapse Prevention
Comprehensive Discharge Plan
Daily Program Activities:
* Group treatment * Introduction to support groups * Educational groups * Multi-family therapy
* Relapse prevention * Urine drug screens
Treatment Schedule:
The Mental Health and Substance Abuse Day Treatment Programs meet M, W and F 9am-1pm. Contact is maintained on a regular basis with the
patient's outpatient providers and other community collaborators. Individual therapy is provided on a weekly basis with the patient's program therapist. The program encourages family and friends support with involvement in treatment. Patients meet on a monthly basis with our program addiction specialist for medication management and questions.
Transportation:
Transportation is not provided through the program, but a list of van transportation companies can be provided as a courtesy to families.
Emergency transportation is available on a case by case basis.
